If you are thinking how you could help your community, gain training and knowledge, help protect life and property, and become part of a Brotherhood that is like no other, the Delaware Park Fire Company would love to show you how...
Come to the firehouse any 1st or 3rd Monday (6:30p-8:30p), and any 2nd or 4th Tuesday (7:00p-9:00p) and talk to our members about joining this organization. We would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have. If you can't stop by at those times, E-mail us.
Junior Members:
Potential members can join the company as early as the age of 16, as a Junior Member. Junior members gain knowledge from Active members at meetings, drills, calls, and work details. Junior members get to go on fire calls, but are NOT allowed to enter any emergency situations. It's a great way to get prepared to become an Active Firefighter.
Active Firefighters:
At the minimum age of 18, members can attend the Warren County Fire Academy and Complete a Firefighter 1 Class. The class is two days per week in the evenings, and a few Saturdays. Upon successfully graduating from the academy, you will receive a Firefighter One Certificate and be qualified as an Active Firefighter.
With the Community Growing and Economy the way it is, Firefighters and Auxiliary Members are needed now more than ever.
